LowcountryBistro REVIEWS & QUOTES

“Great Brunch! ”
5 of 5 stars
The breakfast sliders were excellent! Some of the best biscuits I have had anywhere! The fried green tomato BLT was also excellent. The tomatoes were ripe and fried to perfection and the sandwich seemingly had an entire pig worth of bacon. Prices were wallet friendly as well!

“Small bistro, big food”
5 of 5 stars
Went for lunch, enjoyed two of their favorites, chicken and waffles and the open face crab and fried green tomato sandwich. Fried chicken was moist with a fantastic coating, pecan butter for waffles, perfect combo of sweet and savory.

“Charleston’s local gem”
5 of 5 stars
We stumbled upon this place after walking the city markets one afternoon. We read the menu posted and a number of things sounded amazing. We were seated on the outside balcony and the view was amazing! Everything we ordered tasted great and was perfect. Our server was fast, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I recommend this charming place to anyone who loves good food.

“Amazing food and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars
I can’t say enough good things about Lowcountry Bistro. We went there for lunch twice during our honeymoon. The Jumbalaya is amazing, the crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had. The service was great. The server was very friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions.

“Lovely Lunch!”

Low Country Bistro came highly recommended by our tour guide and we loved it! The shrimp and grits were fabulous, with a fried green tomato. The chicken and waffle appetizer was delicious too. I would definitely recommend Low Country Bistro.

“First time for chicken and waffles!”
5 of 5 stars
Three of us tried chicken and waffles for the first time here! It was excellent from the crispy fried chicken to the cinnamon brown sugar butter and bourbon reduction. So good.

My husband and I were exploring the Historic Market and saw this quaint little Resturant – stopped and had scallops with pork belly and crab cakes – we were delighted!!
